Serves as the Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear (CBRN) Operations Readiness NCO in a M777A2 155MM Firing Battery assigned to the Regimental Field Artillery Squadron (RFAS) within 3d Cavalry Regiment comprised of 85 personnel accountable for all unit level radiation and decontamination supplies and equipment including NBC masks and services establishes unit level training plans for the Commander for individual tasks on Preventive maintenance, proper wear of equipment and suits and decontamination training responsible for the accountability, professional development, training, counseling, morale, health and welfare of four Soldiers responsible for the accountability and maintenance of all squad equipment worth over $500,000, including one Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV), and one trailer. Performs duties as a Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Advanced Individual Training (AIT) Drill Sergeant in one of only two CBRN AIT companies in the Army responsible for the discipline, morale, health and welfare of 120 Soldiers during a ten week training cycle serves as a role model and leads Soldiers through the Soldierization process provides instruction and training on Army Values, Physical Readiness Training, and Drill and Ceremony reinforces 74D 10-level tasks training inspects facilities and Soldiers to ensure compliance with regulations conducts performance counseling and mentorship.
